Drupal Developer (freelance)

Currently at VM.PL, we are looking for an experienced Drupal Developer (freelance) to collaborate on projects delivered for our client. If you have at least 3 years of professional experience with Drupal technology and value clean, precise code, join us!

Responsibilities:

• Creating and implementing code according to established standards (Drupal Code Standards, BEM CSS, ES6, linters)
• Managing merge requests – creating them and overseeing the review process
• Onboarding and development within external projects
• Performing regular updates and implementing security patches (analyzing available updates and new versions of Drupal core and modules, implementing updates, testing, and ensuring quality before deploying to production, and restoring functionality in case of compatibility issues)
• Quick response to critical security vulnerabilities
• Working in a team with access to Jira (tasks assigned by the client’s Project Manager), GitLab, and SSH (staging environment)

Requirements:

• Experience working with Drupal – mid/senior level preferred (minimum 3 years of experience)
• Knowledge of coding best practices: BEM CSS, ES6, linters, and Drupal Code Standards
• Proficiency with version control systems (GitLab)
• English language proficiency at B2 level (spoken and written)
• German language skills would be an additional asset
