VM.PL in Minnesota: Manufacturing Mingle and Applied AI 2026

/ 08.10.2026News

In late October and early November, VM.PL will be attending two events in Minnesota focused on topics that are especially relevant to our work: manufacturing, industrial maintenance, and practical applications of artificial intelligence.

On October 27, we’ll sponsor Manufacturing Mingle in Fridley. A few days later, on November 2, our team will attend the Applied AI 2026 Fall Conference in St. Paul.

The two events have different formats, but share a common goal: bringing people together to exchange practical experiences and discuss how technology can address real business and operational challenges.

Manufacturing Mingle: Connecting With Minnesota’s Manufacturing Community

On October 27, VM.PL will sponsor Manufacturing Mingle, taking place from 3:00 to 6:00 PM at Forgotten Star Brewing in Fridley, Minnesota.

Manufacturing Mingle is an informal gathering that brings together professionals from the local manufacturing community. For us, it’s an opportunity to connect with manufacturers, maintenance leaders, and others who deal with challenges on the shop floor every day.

We’re particularly interested in discussing unplanned downtime, access to technical knowledge, maintenance efficiency, automation, and practical applications of AI in industrial environments.

Representing VM.PL at the event will be Łukasz Borzęcki, CEO of VM.PL, and Natalia Dueholm, Director of our North American Division.

Tickets are available [here].

From Shop Floor Challenges to Practical AI Applications

One of the topics we’re looking forward to discussing with manufacturers is how maintenance teams access technical knowledge.

When a machine goes down, the time it takes to get production running again depends on more than the failure itself. A technician may spend additional minutes or even hours searching for the right manual, reviewing technical documentation, checking previous incidents, or waiting for someone familiar with the equipment.

This is exactly the challenge OEE Booster is designed to address. The solution helps production and maintenance teams find the technical information they need faster, allowing them to troubleshoot issues more efficiently.

Our focus is on AI that supports everyday work with machinery, technical documentation, and maintenance processes. Manufacturing Mingle will give us an opportunity to discuss this approach with people working directly in American manufacturing facilities and learn from their experiences.

VM.PL at the Applied AI 2026 Fall Conference

A few days later, on November 2, Łukasz Borzęcki and Natalia Dueholm will attend the Applied AI 2026 Fall Conference at the Saint Paul RiverCentre.

The full-day conference focuses on real-world applications of artificial intelligence and is expected to bring together more than 500 attendees. The agenda covers business use cases, technical considerations, and the implementation of AI-powered solutions in real-world environments.

Natalia Dueholm also serves on the Board of Directors of Applied AI, a Minnesota-based nonprofit organization focused on AI education, community building, and practical applications of artificial intelligence.

For us, the conference will be another opportunity to explore a question that’s becoming increasingly important in manufacturing: Where can AI deliver measurable operational value today?

In industrial maintenance, we see significant potential in making technical knowledge easier to access, improving how teams work with documentation, and reducing the time spent finding the information needed to get equipment back up and running. These are the areas OEE Booster is designed to support.

Let’s Connect in Minnesota

If you work in manufacturing, industrial maintenance, automation, or AI and plan to attend either event, we’d be happy to connect.

You can meet Łukasz Borzęcki and Natalia Dueholm at Manufacturing Mingle on October 27 and the Applied AI 2026 Fall Conference on November 2.

We’d love to hear about the challenges your production and maintenance teams are facing and discuss where AI could make a meaningful difference in their day-to-day operations.
